Looking for a fun, FREE activity to do this Saturday? Toys r’ Us is having another “make & take” event at any of their 3 locations around the city this Saturday, October 28, starting at 11 AM. Kids will make an adorable little BB-8 robot from the Star Wars movies, then take it home.

Here’s what you can expect from one of the LEGO make & take events:

• There will be a line before the event starts at 11 am. I’d suggest getting there 15 minutes early, as they can run out of the bricks. Bring some entertainment in case the kids get antsy.
• The line moves quickly once it gets going. You’ll be given a bag to put the bricks in, then you move on to the cardboard boxes. Each box has the number of bricks you need; just put them in your bag and move on to the next box.
• Once you have all your bricks, and the instruction sheet, you can take them home, or build them on a table at the store.

The events are organized, and not chaotic at all. The only issue is the line, but with a bit of entertainment it goes by quickly.
