Art Cards Fundraiser
The Art Cards fundraiser was a huge success again and raised 400$ for the school. We are looking forward to receiving the beautiful greeting cards. A huge thanks to Sandra G. for organising this!
Ice Cream Fridays by No-Frills
Thank you to No-Frills for their continued support and donating ice creams for our Ice Cream Fridays!
Thanks you also to everyone who bought the ice cream passes! The money raised by this fund-raiser will be used towards the programs and events supported by KEEPAC such as fruit days, school dance, parent workshops, movie night etc. If you didn’t get a pass, students can still bring $1 to the school to purchase ice cream.
Thanks to Laurence S. for organizing this and all the volunteer ice-cream-sellers!
Fruit Basket Sponsored by No-Frills
Thank-you to No-Frills who is now donating all the fruit for the basket in the office! This is fruit that kids (or anyone else that wants some) can grab if they need a snack. Thank you to Laurence S. for picking up the fruit every week!
Hot lunch
The Pizza lunch from Panago organized by the PAC on Wednesday October 18 was a huge success with the kids and it raised 280$ for the school! Thanks to the parents and lunch-ladies who helped distributing and a huge thanks to Richelle in the office for collecting all the order forms and money.
Our next hot lunch will be Wok Box on November 22. Orders will be due on November 8.
Winter concert
Our school is growing, and this year the school will have two winter concerts on December 14th; one in the afternoon and one in the evening. We will be having a Basket Raffle fundraiser again this year. You will have the chance to get raffle tickets at both concerts!
This has been a very successful fundraiser in previous years. If you would want to help out with this, please contact Joanne or Kelly (Fundraising coordinator).
Volunteers Appreciated
Are you looking for a way to contribute to your child’s learning experience but don’t have evening childcare and/or can’t attend meetings? Maybe there is another reason that you haven’t been able to volunteer in the past but KEEPAC has lots of opportunities to contribute that can fit into your busy schedule. You could help with Friday ice cream days, hot lunches or provide input on the Arts Enrichment Plan, Book fair. These are just a few of the things that KEEPAC members do to help make King Edward Elementary the best learning and growth environment it can be for students. To find out how you can contribute, please email keepac1@gmail.com.
