Book fair

A huge Thank-you to Linda L. who organized this years book fair, and all the families who supported the school library by buying books! This event made $2172.59 in Book Fair rewards!

Multicultural pot-luck and movie night

The pot-luck dinner and movie night was a huge success! Thanks to all the families who brought the delicious food, Mr. Kaiser for helping us with setting up the movie, and Elena P. for organizing it all!

Science Fair

Please join us for the 2nd annual King Edward Elementary School Science Fair, Thursday April 6th from 6pm to 8pm.

We’re looking forward to seeing all the science projects the children have created!

Even if your child didn’t do a science project this year, this is a fun event for your child to learn more about science. So come on out and support the participating students.

There will be science demonstrations ….. !

Spring Fling – King Edward Elementary School Dance April 27

The school dance will be held on Thursday April 27 from 6 – 8pm.

Request for volunteers will come home with the students soon.

This is a great event for the King Edward students and their families. The hugely popular Photo Booth will be back and we will sell Glow sticks and Popcorn!

Fruit basket sponsored by No-Frills

Thank-you to No-Frills who is now donating all the fruit for the basket in the office! This is fruit that kids (or anyone else that wants some) can grab if they need a snack and will be kept stocked up by parents from the school.

Volunteers Appreciated

Are you looking for a way to contribute to your child’s learning experience but don’t have evening childcare and/or can’t attend meetings? Maybe there is another reason that you haven’t been able to volunteer in the past but KEEPAC has lots of opportunities to contribute that can fit into your busy schedule. You could help with Friday ice cream days, Pizza lunches or provide input on the Arts Enrichment Plan, Book fair. These are just a few of the things that KEEPAC members do to help make King Edward Elementary the best learning and growth environment it can be for students. To find out how you can contribute, please email keepac1@gmail.com.

Our next meeting will be Monday April 24 at 6.30 in the teachers lounge.
